Tamil romantic
comedy film
Director: Pandiraj
Music: T. Rajendar
After a couple
of flops and a dozen controversies, Simbu is back with his next film, Idhu
Namma Aalu. The trailer created quite a buzz and my first impression about the
film is, it's pretty ok entertainer with an old story.
The hero falls
in love and then breaks up. Then meets another girl in a formal matrimonial
setting. They get to know each other and their pasts and ex lovers. There are
some cute scenes and a few annoying ones. Then the heroin's father gets drunk
and fights with the hero's dad and the marriage gets called off. The heroine
attempts a suicide.
Then she gets
rescued and they get married, three times. The major highlight was Soori's
comedy track. He was hilarious with his one liners. He had one counter
dialogue for everything Simbu had to say.
The 1st half was
lot more fun and engaging. 2nd half gets a bit annoying and some scenes looked
fake n cheesy. The movie was not boring but it didn't create any interest too.
